Onboarding setup 2: Configuring promotions, charges, accounting, and labels

Promotions

Setup the logic of your custom promotions here. These function by providing your customers with the promo code that they will enter during the checkout process. You can find more information about promotions and promo codes here.

Charges

Setup any predefined charges you anticipate will be used on a regular basis in your operations. They can be positive or negative. Charges you establish here can be quickly added to invoices and unit rentals in other parts of the system.

Accounting

Setup your tax mode:

Exclusive: Prices have taxes added on top

Inclusive: Prices include tax

Setup your accounting codes and tax rates. This is a very important step. These codes should ideally match up with the accounting codes you have set up in your accounting system to ensure the data ties up accurately.

Apply your accounting codes to the deposit, rent, and prepayment accounts for your company. This setting establishes these tax codes and rates system-wide on all rentals.

Labels

Setup your custom labels for each category. You can find more information about labels here.
