Testing payment gateway connection with Storeganise
After connecting your payment gateway it is recommended to run a test transaction to confirm that all settings are correct and that transactions are processing successfully. This test verifies the full booking and payment flow between the Customer Portal and the Management Portal before going live.
Step 1: Log in to your Customer Portal using your manager user profile credentials and go to the Billing page to add your payment information.Step 2: Return to the Management Portal, select an available unit, and move yourself in. Be sure to adjust the price to a small test amount such as $1.Step 3: Open the generated invoice and click Charge customer to process the payment. The invoice may also charge automatically depending on your site's automation settings.Step 4: Move yourself out of the unit once the transaction is successful.If the payment is processed successfully and the invoice status updates correctly, your payment gateway connection is working as expected.
